Yes, you can sell your insurance policy if it has a cash value. We buy eligible endowment and whole life policies from Singapore insurers, paid for in cash, with our own money. If our price beats your surrender value, you see both figures in writing before you decide.
Great Eastern endowment, matures 2030
Conditions: you are the legal owner; no trust nomination, loan or pledge; the insurer records the assignment.
Every offer shows our price beside your insurer's figure, with each condition named. Figures are an illustration.
We buy from AIA, Prudential, Great Eastern, Income, Singlife, Manulife, HSBC Life, Etiqa, Tokio Marine and FWD. Premiums must have been paid in cash.
If we don't buy your policy, we say so and point you to your insurer's surrender route, with our guide for your insurer. We don't pass your details to anyone else. Insurer surrender forms
Four things decide whether we buy and what we pay. How we value a policy
We start from your net surrender value: the insurer's figure after surrender charges, policy loans and unpaid premiums. If your insurer cannot confirm it, we cannot price the policy.
We value the guaranteed maturity benefit and the bonuses already added to the policy. Projected bonuses count for less, because the insurer may not pay them.
Fewer years to maturity and fewer premiums to pay make a policy worth more to us. As a rule of thumb, we look once about a third of the term has passed.
You must be the legal owner, the premiums must have been paid in cash, and the policy must be free of trust nominations, pledges and earlier assignments.
Your insurer, the plan name, its start and maturity dates, the premiums and your latest surrender value. No NRIC and no documents at this stage.

Often, yes. The loan and its interest come off the value, just as they would on surrender, and the offer shows how.
A revocable nomination generally ends when the policy is assigned. A trust nomination usually blocks a sale. Your insurer can confirm which one you have. What happens after you sell · Who buys policies
We do: the maturity payout and, if the life assured dies before maturity, the death benefit. The life assured stays the same person.
It depends mostly on how quickly your insurer records the assignment. Your written offer includes a timetable.
