Selling a policy means assigning it to the buyer. China Life sets out what it needs for an assignment. Absolute assignment explained
Both come from China Life's Forms Library.
The owner who assigns and the person or company receiving the policy.
The assignor's NRIC or passport copy. An individual assignee adds proof of address and a FATCA and CRS self-certification; a company adds its constitution and ACRA business profile.
The new owner sets up its own GIRO for any premiums still due.
Once recorded, the assignor gives up every right under the policy, and China Life writes to the new owner.

Where your plan has a cash value, China Life offers a Policy Loan Application on the same forms page. A loan keeps the policy but charges interest.
